Rep. Michele Bachmann has declined to get into the scrum with Newsweek over its cover story of the presidential candidate called "The Queen of Rage," accompanied by an unflattering photo of the Minnesota Republican, but others are calling the magazine out-of-bounds in its depiction.
The National Organization for Women President Terry O'Neill said that the cover of the magazine's latest edition is "sexist" and referred to a simple test by the group's founder Gloria Steinem to explain how they determined that conclusion -- would the magazine do the same to a man.
"Who has ever called a man 'The King of Rage?' Basically what Newsweek magazine -- and this is important, what Newsweek magazine, not a blog, Newsweek magazine -- what they are saying of a woman who is a serious contender for president of the United States of America… They are basically casting her as a nut job," O'Neill said to The Daily Caller and NOW confirmed to FoxNews.com on Tuesday.

I remember there used to be a magazine called Newsweek.

What is really funny is that Newsweak keeps doing these stupid covers...Palin, Lady Di at 50, now Bachmann...to get press and attention.
Yet the journalism and readership and circulation still suck, and it’ll be tossed into the dustbin of history.
Just like Hussein’s presidency.
Rolling Stone trotted out its hit piece several weeks ago.
Nedwsweak became tabloid trash a long, long time ago. It ceased being relevant sometime during Reagan’s first term.
What value is a News Magazine in an internet world? They were cutting edge during Ben Franklin’s day.

Don’t care for sNoozeweek’s sleaze, but Bachmann has been quite an embarrassment lately. She just isn’t bright, or classy.
Hell, she could get her period and nuke China.
Hilary Clinton always looked life a half-crazed, menopausal psychotic, but she didn’t get any of this treatment by the MSM. It’s intentional smear tactics, by an increasingly irrelevant liberal rag. But you would think that Bachmann would have learned from Sarah Palin’s experience with ambush journalism and stayed away from Newsweek, Time, etc.
I didn’t know that anyone still read Newsweak.
The MSM is scared of Bachmann. They pulled this crap on Palin too. Right now Palin isn’t officially in the race and Bachmann is surging so they need to knock her off for the establishment.
Tell them their cover prompted you to contribute to her campaign. That out to give them heartburn for sure.
