More than the title is stupid. the link for the video doesn’t play a video. It opens another window, with a new story, with a new video. Clicking on the link for that video opens yet another new story with yet another new video. I finally quit trying to watch any of the videos. It reminded me of the rock with “turn me over” painted on both sides.
You’re right —the title WAS insulting, since it suggests that Jews don’t mind violence and chaos until it touches them.
The screenshot of the cop with shield is being redirected to a more passive video of burning cars and dumpsters.

I did not see in the entire article so much as one fact about Jews being threatened, other than that the riot had moved into a Jewish neighborhood. WTF. But the video is worth the annoyance of the bad reporting.

It is too bad that lethal force is not used against this kind of thuggery! Shoot to kill a few of those up front throwing missiles at the cops. The rest will scatter then the cops should shoot a few more as they run away.

How are the police ever going to take control of the situation if they keep backing away like that? Are they just going to let the rioters wear themselves out, and then claim victory when they fall asleep?

They tried that in Crown Heights in ‘91, and in LA after the Rodney King verdict. It never works. And the rioters lose all respect for you if you back away, and that breeds more lawlessness. That’s obviously happening in that video.
If the police would just form a phalanx with the shields out and clubs swinging, and drive a wedge between the rioters, they could keep them busy and disorganized until reinforcements could arrive. I’m not even a cop, and I know that much. They’re as disorganized as the rioters themselves, so of course they got nowhere.
