It started in a black neighborhood, that is, mostly people from the Caribbean or from other formerly British colonies with a high African population.
Looking at the photos, I’d say it’s spread to other black areas, and also now involves some Muslims (at any rate, people who look as if they could be Pakistani or Arab) and a fair number of young white anarchists, just taking advantage of the disorder to make it worse.
I think it’s clear that the Majesty of the Queen should listen to their legitimate grievances.
