The Summer of Love? Fear and Loathing in the Heartland
The Chicago Daily Observer ^ | August 8, 2011 | Daniel J. Kelley

Given the fact that so many Illinois residents visit the State Fairgrounds in West Allis, one would think that a riot on the opening night of the fair in which a gang of youths, estimated to be composed of one hundred or more young black males, terrorized fairgoers along the carnival midway and outside of the fair gates would be newsworthy, but you would be mistaken. Searching through the two major Chicago newspapers, the story appeared to have either gone unreported or it was buried.

What makes this media blackout more suspect is the fact that the Chicago media has been steadfastly following the Obama party line and reporting on Wisconsin politics, union protests and the recall election efforts intended to overturn the results of the 2010 Wisconsin legislative elections. . .

The plain and simple truth is that the Obama reelection team is paranoid about the prospect of losing Wisconsin’s ten electoral votes in 2012. Although the Republican presidential nominee remains unknown, the Obama team is in a panic because according to its internal polls there is no road map to Democratic victory that does not include Wisconsin in 2012.

Oddly enough, the president, who was capable of convening a “beer summit” when Harvard’s Henry Louis Gates was offended by a local police officer, has not found time to denounce the tidal of wave of urban violence. Like the Roman Emperor Nero, the president appears to be fiddling while Rome burns. During this week of urban mayhem, Obama held more political fundraisers and celebrated his birthday with rap musicians and celebrities. One of the White House guests at the most recent of a series of presidential birthday celebrations was the Reverend Al Sharpton.

The heathen behaving mobs are Attorney General Eric Holder’s people just as he said the Black Panthers that intimidated voters in Philly were. Can’t prosecute them so why should the media even mention them. If they do, it just gets messy.

West Allis is a suburb of Milwaukee...they covered it extensivly and charged their policy to require those under 18 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian after 5:00 P.M.

If you read the entire article, you would find both of these same points were covered in the complete text regarding West Allis and the restrictions on teenagers seeking to enter the fairgrounds without an adult chaperone after 5 o’clock.
