Exactly 80 years ago, international capitalism stood on the verge of meltdown.
The collapse of the banking system in the summer of 1931 sent shockwaves through Europe, bringing governments to their knees and thousands out onto the streets.
In the United States, an increasingly careworn president and his congressional critics fought a bitter battle over government spending and tax rises.

Just like in 1931, the failure was not of capitalism, it was a failure of government control, regulation and intervention. Just like 1931, the “solution” of more government control, regulation and intervention only makes things worse.
We must always remember that the destruction of our housing and mortgage markets, which put us in the crisis we are in, was not caused by greedy capitalists, it was caused by government control and regulations that made lenders make bad loans that they would not have made if based on their own business criteria. People like Barney Franks, Pelosi and Obama should be remembered in infamy as the destroyers of our Country.

I'm not as impressed with this article. Sounds too similar to the "government is the answer" solution we hear in this side of the pond:
It is time that our politicians cracked down on non-domiciled billionaires, and time they made sure the rich elite paid their fair share of our national tax bill.
And if David Cameron really wants to rekindle the British peoples faith in the capitalist system, then he should go further. He should force the banks to lend more money to individuals and small businesses, getting our economy moving again.

“In other countries, many turned to the far Right, swelling the ranks of the Nazis and their allies.”
The Nazi party was Socialist. NOTHING about them was “Far right”

Since 1913 the US Dollar has lost 96% of its value. Obama is focused like a laser on that last 4%.

I think its time to begin a relentless campaign to bring “Atlas Shrugged” to the forefront of every American’s mind.
