This is a very sketchy report from a source that prefers to remain anonymous:
According to an insurance company with operations in China, China's high-speed train accident resulted in 259 people dead, 183 injured, and 154 still missing. The numbers are set to increase, according to this insurance company.

The route between New Fallujah and Rahmabad will be strewn with bodies who lack the education to even read their own train ticket, and have no idea why they were on the train in the first place.

Because a wreck at 300 KPH will render numerous fatalities so horrific that you could only identify remains via DNA analysis.
On 9-11, when that jet crashed in Penn - going well over 300 KPH on impact - the largest identifiable human remains was a 6" long piece of spine. The rest of the remains were jello.
