Sadly what most folks don’t understand is that this thing called civilization is actually a very very thin veneer poured over the mass of humanity & if you rub at one spot just a little to hard you can rub right thru it to the underlying savagery below .

The leftists who constantly scream for revolution do not understand this & the Republicans who do understand it are to frightened to tell the leftist in terms that they understand (blunt but targeted force ) to get a friggen clue.

It’s more than poor medical care the Bureau of Indian Affairs is literally the most corrupt organization in the US govt. . Do some research into monies paid for the exploitation of mineral rights on Indian lands & what the Fed.Govt. has done ie billions of dollars worth of money gone missing.

This tragedy happened right in front of the home of one of our employees. He is a retired policeman himself, and is still pretty shaken by how it went down. Poor officer didn’t stand a chance.....shot at point blank range while he was questioning the “native American”.

By all accounts, McCandless was a rather extraordinary young man. He recently received his Master’s Degree while working for the PD at night. He also was a part-time instructor at the University here in Rapid. He was a familiar face around town because he did a lot of public service announcements for the PD and also a lot of benefit work for different organizations.

Such a senseless waste. He will be missed.

I think... yup, that’s the most ignorant thing I’ve read all day.
Good job.

Zuegma says: Sorry, but being a taxi driver is a more dangerous job. Being a police officer isn’t even in the top 10 most dangerous jobs.

In actuality, police lead in job-related homicides. Actually, I think they might have been behind retail.
So they’re accidental death rate is lower than most... But they get MURDERED more often. Your statistical analysis was off.

Grew up near a rez.

The government destroyed the Indians completely. They put them in a ghetto, fed them and allowed to live on welfare for all of their lives.

The results are quite sad. The better tribes are trying to pull themselves out of the spiral, and some of the Indians have decided it is better to leave. Many of my class mates growing up did that, and are very happy they did.

No, look at what the government did to the Indians, and now look at the inner cities. Part of me think it is on purpose.

Condemning without evidence. Par for the course.

Hardly. The vast majority of deaths of police officers on the job is traffic related. Many of those are directly related to their function as revenue raisers for the police state. Sorry, but I and many others have lost any sympathy we might have had for the police many years ago. They’ve simply not earned it.

I didn’t think a statement with no real definition needed evidence prior to condemnation.

FIrst off, what constitutes a ‘pretext stop?’ Broken headlight? Speeding?
Second, what makes you think this was one of your so-called pretext stops? Aren’t these stops allowed under Terry V. Ohio?
Do you have any evidence for your statement, or are you just condemning without evidence? Oh, my bad. Par for the course.
