Hmmm....

Dec 2010 - 326
Jan - 321
Feb - 281
Mar - 608
Apr - 493
May - 481
Jun - 561

That totals 3,071...so matches the article. So how do we get to 4,488?

Jul - 1,417?!?!?

How did they triple their avg sales in July? Sell all the dealer demos? Give GM execs bonus money, earmarked to buy a Volt and skew the number? Are they counting committments from NYC and other misguided cities to purchase these as ‘sales’.

They’ve sold every one of them, huh? So there should be no 2011 Volt on a dealer lot anywhere in the country right now. GM jst had a public offering. Providing questionable sales data, which could influence stock price, used to be considered a no-no.
