It is dangerously easy to arrive at this mistaken impression. They are not incompetent, they are very efficient at doing EXACTLY what they set out to do, in EXACTLY the way they intended, with EXACTLY the result they intended to obtain. Their purpose is not the preservation of a bucolic natural balance that is portrayed to the average liberal “useful idiot”, but the establishment of global control over the means of production (sound familiar?) by a small number of unelected, unaccountable, and unrecallable Marxixt thugs who will rule our lives.
