Funny, you never see headlines that say Democrat
Senators consider supporting House debt plan.

“I voted for cut, cap, and balance,’” Republican Sen. Scott Brown of Massachusetts said today, in reference to the House Republicans’ initial debt limit plan. “I’ll vote for Boehner, and I’ll vote for Reid. I’ve already said that. We need to move our country forward. It’s time.”

At least he took a firm stance. / s

We can always count on RINO’s to throw sand in the gears.

The Dems at least have their votes in the bag, If you are a Democrat you vote Democrat even if it is the worst thing that ever came down the Pike, and much of what they have voted on for the last few years was the worst thing to come down the Pike.

Thune’s statements do not match the headline. He said changes need to be made to Reid’s bill for Repub support. That could mean many things.

That is not support!

McConnell will keep his group together long enough to defeat the Reid first assault. It is a plan that cannot pass the House. Boehner would be able to hold his delegation together to defeat that piece of garbage.

So that means there will be horse trading. As Reid caves a little here and there he will peel off some RINOs in the Senate. The question is can Reid cave enough to get it passed in the House? He will have to convince every Dem in the House to vote for it and hope that there are enough scared RINOs in the House to get it over the hump. I predict that if the deal is not a total disaster Boehner will allow a few of his caucus to vote for it. So they will have to sell Boehner on enough of the deal for him to let that happen.

This is my prediction. We are going to get a much worse deal than anything that has passed the House so far. But it is going to be much better than 0bama’s first offer of just a clean debt ceiling increase. A plus from all of this is that everyone is talking about the debt now.

The tea party congressmen will have held firm and not voted. Some of them can go home and consider running for the Senate against some RINOs or against a Dem. The campaign for 2012 has to be that we need a majority in both Houses and the Presidency to stop the madness.

BTW was he not a Laura Ingraham favorite? Yes he was & probably still is. Darn, I hate to see Laura lose so much credibility so quickly.
