Do u really think Bonehead will send these Republicans back to their districts for Town Hall Meetings. Quite the contrary, he’s got them right where he wants them: Among the DC Elites who can lavish praise
on them, invite them to victory party if this bill passes, write how brave they were..etc

I really think Enterprise is onto something here. If we think that Boehner is going to get in the way, then we need to call our reps and tell them to get their butt’s home NOW so they can come to OUR town hall meeting; if they know what’s good for them.

Realistically, I do not expect Speaker Boehner to send them home to find out what the voters are thinking. He knows that what the voters are thinking trumps all the ridiculous polls.

In one of Speaker Boehner's weepy interviews he talked about how much it meant to him to help the children of this nation achieve the American dream. Fine and good, but for now, millions of those same children will NEVER have a chance to achieve the American dream. If Speaker Boehner had the courage of his stated convictions, he would stand his ground and tell the Democrats there will be no more new taxes, no more new spending, and there will be gigantic cuts in the budgets of a lot of the Federal Agencies. The budget WILL be balanced, and if the Democrats don't like it - TOUGH. IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN!!!!!!!!
