LOS ANGELES - Two men and a woman arrested in connection with the beating of San Francisco Giants fan Bryan Stow outside Dodger Stadium on opening day were identified today, although police still refused to confirm the arrests or provide an update on the investigation. Louie Sanchez, 29, and Marvin Norwood, 30, were each being held in lieu of $500,000 bail following their arrests on suspicion of committing mayhem; while 31-year-old Dorene Sanchez -- believed to be Louie's sister and the wife or girlfriend of Norwood -- posted bail after after her arrest on suspicion of being an accessory after the fact, the Los Angeles Times reported on its website.
...A neighbor told The Times Norwood and Dorene Sanchez live with three children, including a toddler and two older children between 9 and 11 years old. Louie Sanchez's son is about 9 or 10 and visits his father on weekends, according to a neighbor.
Witnesses to the Dodger Stadium beating reported seeing a child about 10 years old in the car in which the two assailants fled after the attack. A law enforcement source told The Times that a child provided authorities with information about the crime.

These SOBs really need to be in cages for life, and I am glad the suspects were apprehended.
Norwood has been arrested in San Bernardino County 5 times, including one for spousal abuse. He was convicted for spousal abuse and various DUI and drug charges.
Sanchez has been arrested 9 times in San Bernardino County, and he has an arrest for spousal abuse. Sanchez was convicted on spousal abuse and firearms violations, including carrying a LOADED gun in a public place.
All told, Sanchez has been arrested by THREE different police departments in THREE different cities.

Notice how LAPD is being really cautious in releasing information. Most of the info in the article was dug up by the media. Of course, the same media are now branding the initial arrest of Ramirez as being a “rush to judgement.” So, fine. Now they will whine about not enough info, LOL.
Trying to find a suspects who were in a crowd with tens of thousands of others is not an easy or simple task and the chances of never finding the suspects from this type of venue are very real.
From Ramirez attorney regarding arrests of new suspects:
"I haven't heard anything," Anthony Brooklier said. "But if it's true, I'm happy for my client. I always believed he was factually innocent. There was a lot of pressure on LAPD. I believe that they were operating in good faith and made a good-faith mistake."
Wow, a child turned them in?? Someone in the family or community who still has decent morals? Excellent. I’d like to see that kid get the reward money in his/her education fund!

From the photo I’ve seen of Ramirez I’d certainly have no problem considering him to be a suspect. The gang tattoos are like a neon sign that says “Hey, look at me. I’m a suspect”.
That said, I’m glad they finally got the perps.

Maybe not, as I understand these 3 were already suspects, and the kid was interviewed and provided further details/evidence. Of course, this was not from a great source.
It's possible the kid might have talked to others about this event, couldn't keep his mouth shut, and the $reward$ money became too tempting for those close to the suspects who might have heard details from the kid.
It's hard for kids to keep their mouths shut...Of course, most adult suspects have a hard time keeping their months shut, and do themselves in by talking too much...This happens all the time with the bad guys...Often, their mouths are their worst enemy.

Agree. A false arrest and false imprisonment would only expand this injustice.
The perps who really did this deserve every punishment we can throw at them.
We need to know who the real perps are. Cops often have their own agendas, so they are no longer a reliable source, sadly.
Given the family rap sheets, likely a child who has experienced this kind of beating first hand.
If nothing else, hopefully the child is moved to a safe environment.
To say there was a LOT of pressure on law enforcement to find suspects would be an understatement.
LAPD also has to answer to the Police Commission and only a year ago was released from the Consent Decree (federal oversight). They are being squeezed from so many sides there isn’t much room for “their own agenda,” imho.
