Latinos' lawsuit alleges harassment

GALVESTON — Day laborers in League City filed a federal lawsuit Thursday, accusing police of harassment and discrimination aimed at preventing them from seeking employment.

The lawsuit filed on behalf of Jornaleros de Las Palmas, a group of about 40 Latino workers, seeks to halt the alleged harassment.

The lawsuit also asks the court to declare unconstitutional a state law preventing day laborers from soliciting jobs from the street

If the courts don’t stop this non-sense, they will eventually be bloodshed. People in the country are sliding into an abyss and this crap is going to push some over the edge.

Green Cards? Are these Mexican Nationals? Has this been tried in Mexico?

All frivolous cases should be tossed out of court....any lawyer encouraging one of these suits should be tossed also...........Judges--beware!

For these infractions, I’d just settle for arrest - deport. Don’t waste money on the conviction.

Wondering how long it will be before these illegal invaders file a lawsuit asking OUR courts to declare the OUR Constitution and OUR nation’s borders as unconstitutional?
