It is a fantasy we play along like we are free, and yet we have these petty bureaucrats that constantly troll our lives and regulate us into submission.

People have no idea what is true Liberty. These petty bureaucrats have exponentially grown in the past few decades. Everyone likely has stories of these parasites causing misery to the citizens of our Republic.

I deeply believe that the mindset of those drawn to such jobs is the exact same as those that gave rise to all totalitarian dictatorships. These are truly sadistic humans who relish punishing and humiliating other humans.

What is truly evil is they hide behind the law. A petty thief has more honor than any government parasite -- paraphrasing Lysander Spooner :)

A nation-wide problem needs Washington’s action.

Obama should appoint a Lemonade Czar to get a handle on the problem.

DISCLAIMER: it turns out that this article is kids selling at a public pool. But the rest were in their front yards and I think some of those states apologized.

That changes the story, but it is Texas, and many home owners associations don't look kindly upon lemonade stands. We've got some incredibly powerful homeowners associations here.
