Rupert Murdoch's News Limited is the most powerful media organisation in Australia, but has come under unprecedented scrutiny in the wake of the UK phone hacking scandal.
Some have questioned its domination of the newspaper industry and are demanding an official investigation into News Limited's operations, although it has yet to find any evidence of wrongdoing.
Here is some of the fighting talk that has come from Australia's leading politicians:
Communications Minister Stephen Conroy, on Australian radio:
"It's [News Limited] decided it wants to have an election. Ignore the fact that we had an election nine or 10 months ago. Ignore the fact the Australian people put in place a parliament with a minority government. "It has demanded that it knows best and that people should just fall into line with what the Daily Telegraph (in Australia, not associated with the Telegraph in London) says. It is just running a campaign on regime change,"
Prime Minister Julia Gillard Speaking at Australia's National Press Club:
"Like I think most Australians, I've been pretty shocked and disgusted to see the revelations that we've seen in the United Kingdom."
"I think we will have a long debate about media ethics in this country but if I could put it as clearly I can, I'd say to you don't write crap."

The end goal is to obliterate News Corp in time for 2012. The eavsdropping was bad, but it is going to be used as an excuse to obliterate the MSM’s main rival.
I see The Obammunist has siked his Gestapo on Murdoch.

If Murdock wants to survive he needs to think like Soros and create a bunch of groups to attack the MSM.
They haven't been able to make a dent with Roger Ailes so they take their war on Fox News international.
Kinda cracks me up that they are using the media against itself like a snake eating it's own tail.
I'd lay money Fox News is the Last Man Standing when it's done.
NWS stock is becoming pretty attractive at this level.
