You may be right about the BMV or DMV but I am still trying to find where in the Bill of Rights are our guaranteed license plates. Since driving is a privilege and not a right I don’t think he has a case. If we were guaranteed that right I wonder what would happen if everyone wanted the same plate? I guess they would have to give it to them if it’s their right to have it. As far as latitude to complain, you certainly have the right to complain. That’s freedom of speech.

Driving is NOT a privilege, the politicians, especially the left wing, thought that one up so they could regulate and tax us at will. Owning property is a right, along with ownership rights goes the right to USE that property, that includes driving a car. Driving is a right, just as owning and riding a horse or hooking a team to a buggy is a right. Anyone who falls for that crap about driving not being a right is totally stupid.

As I said that is a scam thought up by politicians in order to subjugate and fine the sh** out of us.

As for the license plates, it is your money and if you want to have obscene or political plates that is a persons right, because license plates are property.

ALL Political speech is PROTECTED SPEECH. Period.

Even if you don’t like it, even if it’s a lie, all political speech is protected by the Constitution.
