In words made famous by Ronald Reagan during a presidential debate with Jimmy Carter in 1980, here we go again. Three blasts within 15 minutes of each other tore through India’s commercial capital Mumbai on Wednesday evening, leaving 18 dead and 133 injured. Can any other major world city match Mumbai’s record as the terrorists’ serial target of choice?

“Pakistan’s record of double-dealing, deceit and denial has been based on four degrees of separation between the government, army, intelligence and terrorists. Plausibility is rapidly fading as it is exploited as a convenient but increasingly implausible alibi to escape international accountability.”

One of these days, India is going to decide that they have suffered enough of the constant terror attacks out of Pakistan, and will lob a few nuclear weapons on enough targets that living with the fallout for a while will be worth it if they can defang the radical Muslims next door.

Hit them and hit them hard. India has a lot better intelligence on what to hit in Pakistan than they will admit or we will (currently) give them credit for, and I give them good odds of pulling off a virtual decapitation of the Pakistani Military leadership, the wishy-washy Government, and most of the terrorists if they have the guts to strike deep enough into Pakistan to make it count; that means most of Waziristan and the surrounding territories, along with every single Pakistani nuclear weapons site. Make the crater glass thick enough and the Pakis won’t be able to get near their weapons for 20 or 30 thousand years.

Limited nuclear warfare used to be unthinkable, but not these days.....
