Births, not new immigrants, push US Latino growth
Associated Press ^ | July 14, 2011 | HOPE YEN

WASHINGTON (AP) -- With immigration slowing, babies born in the U.S. rather than newly arrived Mexican immigrants are now driving most of the fast growth in the Latino population.

A new analysis of census data highlights a turning point in Hispanics' rapid U.S. growth. Demographers point to the potential for broader political impact as U.S.-born Mexican-Americans widen their numbers over non-citizen, foreign-born counterparts, who wield no voting rights.

If one thing has been proven in the past, it’s that estimates related to Latinos and the illegal alien population are not very reliable. When the 1986 amnesty passed they expected about 1.5 million illegals to apply for amnesty, but over twice that many actually applied.

We are now seeing stories about how illegal entries are far below previous years with no real way of proving it one way or the other. And I’m sure we’ll hear this more and more whenever the Dims and Republican elites decide to start another amnesty for illegals push, or Dream Act push.

WATTA SURPRISE "A new analysis of census data" highlights Hispanics' rapid U.S. growth and the broader political impact as US-born Mexican-Americans widening their numbers over those who wield no voting rights........

ANALYSIS? Census data? This is so phony---another effort by vote-crazed Obama to cook the 2012 election.

NOW WE KNOW WHY Remember that one of Ohaha's first moves in the WH was to takeover the US census and put it under his control.

============================================

CENSUS SCAM STARTS LIKE THIS The census scam to fake latino numbers.

FR POST: I directly witnessed Hispanics ‘coach’ other Hispanics on what to say to California census takers ..... in order to: (1) inflate Hispanic numbers at the address, (2) to make up names, and, (3) list Hispanics living elsewhere as living at that address. An Hispanic PhD candidate at a research foundation said that it was to gain more budget and representation for Hispanics. That was 19 years ago. I learned later that the this game was occurring in all Hispanic communities throughout the West.

NOTE----Falsifying official documents is a felony. Providing false information to a census taker is a violation of federal and state law.

REFERENCE----Two Census Bureau managers fired for creating at least 10,000 bogus questionnaires
New York Daily News | 6-26-10 | Samuel Goldsmith, Jake Pearson, Michael Mcauliff
FR Posted on Saturday, June 26, 2010 by afraidfortherepublic

Two Census Bureau managers from a Brooklyn field office were fired after their bosses found they faked household surveys the Daily News learned.

=====================================

Keep in mind, the census operation has been fully politicized. The census was co-opted and moved into the WH when Ohaha came in. They are cooking the census books, manipulating the census, turning it into a vote-rigging machine.

Q. So how can the census be turned into a vote-rigging machine?

A. Census Bureau managers create, say 10,000 bogus census questionnaires, in each district. Lists of faked people are kept on file and registered to vote in various precincts. On election day, ringers are bussed in, armed with lists of registered names.....they then use the faked names to vote.

The flip side of this coin is that white Americans, except Mormons, are failing to reproduce themselves. One reason for their complacency in the face of the homosexualist movement is that they agree with the gay activists that sex is basically a matter of pleasure of which children are an occasional product. This is part and parcel of a lack of respect for the traditional family and indeed the culture created this nation and which underlies our political system. Ironically we might have to put our hope in the assimilation of of immigrants rather than in our own children.

The balkanization of America continues, would anyone be surprised if we have our own Kosovo situation in the Southwest?

Hispanics will rule this country well before they are the majority in 75 years. It is inevitable. There is no way around it. Accept it and have your family learn Spanish and learn to celebrate Mexico holidays, of which there are many.

Viva Mexico.

I wish it wasn’t true but in the Bank of America here in Georgia all three tellers were Hispanic, all advertisements in the bank were showing Hispanic people (except for a token Black). It is just the way it is and we, as a people, do not have what it takes to do what is necessary to reverse it.

Mark Steyn has hammered this home repeatedly about Europe, and it’s happening here to some extent as well. Demographics matter. When native populations stop having kids, and immigrant populations keep having large families and don’t assimilate (Muslims in Europe, for example, or some Mexicans here), sooner or later you won’t recognize the country.

They can manipulate the numbers any way they like, the fact is there are still many babies of illegal immigrant’s being born on U.S. soil. There are still millions flooding across our borders.

We had accumulated nine million illegals here by 2000, as near as the government could tell. We know that number absolutely exploded after a guy was elected in 2000 that said he favored some for of naturalization.

If you have 20 to 35 million illegals, there are bound to be a few kids born to them.

Slow down, guys! MY children, grandchildren and even great-grandchildren are part of the “Hispanic” group. My late husband was “Chicano” born in East LA. We met in the US Army. His parents were born in Nogales AZ about the time it bacame a state. We are NOT Mexican, we don’t speak Spanish, some are even blonds. Yet we have Hispanic surnames and (except for me) check the Hispanic box on the census form.

If it’s births more than border hopping, it’s anchor baby births by border hopping illegal moms. Just as bad as the border hopping in my opinion. Let’s rule that anchor births do not make the baby a citizen. Only allow babies of one American citizen dad/mom + one person [mom/dad] not under the jurisdiction of a foreign power (the other has to have a green card and not be an illegal). to be a citizen if born on U.S. soil.

If they are born here in the US why should they be counted as a separate group “Latino?” “Latino” represents a language group. I would guess that the children born here will grow up speaking English. Allow them to assimilate into the majority population as every other linguistic group has done in the past rather than be ghettoized into a permanent separate tribe. Be proud of the heritage of where ever your family came from but be “American.”

ANCHOR BABIES! 60,000 every single year in TX alone. Will doom us unless the Congress changes Federal naturalization law to make sure “jurisdiction” = at least one parent be an American citizen to confer citizenship to offspring.

Europe’s abandonment of Christianity is the result of a profound pessimism. The generation after the war aimed to rebuild Europe alone the old lines, to restore the old Europe as it was before 1914, except without the bellicosity and with more social justice. As a result, the people got to work and from the huge mounds of bricks reconstructed their cities. One has to admire especially the Germans, and their great energy, their willingness to skimp and save, and their willingness to work as hard at restoring their homes as they displayed in war.

But already by the late ‘70s, the novelist Guenter Grass observed that the German people were no longer reproducing themselves. Not only had they failed to replaced the 6 millioin who had died during the war, but that the population was shrinking. During the war they had got used to the idea of foreign workers brought in to replace the men in uniform. Now the Gaestarbiters from Italy and of course Turkey were making up for the shortage of German workers. And the new generation of Germans more and more disdained “that”sort of work and left it up to the Italians and the Turks. The new generation was less energetic than the old and preferred to enjoy the prosperity that appeared in the ‘70s. And of course the social benefits that came from a government that could leave the defence of their country to the Americans. In any case, their country no longer had any large purpose than providing for the comfort of its population. They themselves had to purpose to serve, except their private ones, which less and less included children. What we see, therefore, is something we see in all nations beyond their best days, whether it be Venice or Holland in the 18th century. The most basic of all institutions, the family, began to decay. Then of course the Church.

The “new guys” from southern Mexico and central America are not going to blend as quickly. It is also wrong to call them “Mexican” because they are Indians with a rudimentary knowledge of Spanish or Mexican culture. Plus there is always with immigration a problem of flooding the lifeboat. If the growing “latino” communities keep growing too fast, then they won’t assimilate. Then ambitious politicians will try to use the unassimilated to force the Anglos to accept new terms.

Talk about made up data!

The 2010 US census didn’t ask anyone about how long they had been in the US or whether they were immigrants or legal at all. Somehow because the population is on average younger than other populations, that’s not only to have nothing to do with all the young illegals arriving here, but it is a sign that fewer illegals enter the country over the past decade?
