I will go out on a limb and say YES to that, and say that it will be a 'military' person. WHO? I don't know - who's out there?

Palin selecting Rick Perry is unconventional. Conventional wisdom is you pick someone to help carry a swing state. Picking Perry would be a strategy towards effective governing more than electioneering. Here's a post of mine from last year.

Gov Jindal is great but if Sarah Palin gets the nomination, my money is on her picking Texas Governor Rick Perry.
