It would indeed seem that members of congress are lawfully participating in corruption and a complete dereliction of duty when it comes to the constitution of the United States of America.
It just another dog and pony show vote of "We'er trying to fix things but those evil democrats and a some republicans eerrr evil democrats are stopping us". "Please don't look at our left hand just keep you eye on the right hand". It looks like democrats have much better leadership in keeping their pawns on a tight leash and voting lock step with them than the republicans.
This bill should have been a easy sell for the GOP.
Can you imagine way back when the Constitution was just written that a bunch of “progressive” members of the Congress came out with a new law dictating what size candles would be used and that they would be made in England?
Somehow, I have this strange feeling that that just would not fly for the very reason that the newly written Constitution never gave the federal government the powers to do that in the first place!
