Perry calling big name Republicans in New Hampshire
New Hampshire Journal ^ | July 11, 2011 | Shawn Millerick

.....Multiple Republican sources tell NH Journal that Perry is calling top-shelf Republican leaders in the Granite State. One Republican state Senator who received a call from the Governor confirmed that he has been discussing his entry into the presidential sweepstakes with leading state Republicans for the past few days.

.....Should he decide to run, Perry is viewed as a serious competitor who could shake up the race. Perry is a fiscal and social conservative with tea party ties and a strong fundraising base.

July 11, 2011: DeMint Plans Forum With GOP Hopefuls “U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint (R., S.C.) will hold a presidential candidate forum in South Carolina on Labor Day, Sept. 5.

But it’s not for everyone. Mr. DeMint, a kingmaker in conservative politics, will extend invitations for “The Palmetto Freedom Forum” to all presidential candidates who average 5% support in a Real Clear Politics’ average of polls. If the forum were held today, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Gov. Rick Perry of Texas, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R., Minn.), Herman Cain, Rep. Ron Paul (R., Texas) and former Speaker Newt Gingrich would make the cut, but former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty (4.5%), former Sen. Rick Santorum (3.3%)and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman (2%) would not.

The forum in the Palmetto State, which holds the first primary in the South, won’t be a debate. Rather, candidates in turn will be questioned by Mr. DeMint, Iowa Rep. Steve King and Robert P. George, founder of the American Principles Project…..”

Nellie Doneva/Reporter-News - Amelia Perry(right), mother of Texas Gov. Rick Perry, shows her quilts at a meeting of the Buffalo Gap Republican Woman's Club at Perini Ranch Steakhouse Friday. Perry called this quilt her "Scarlet O'Hara" quilt, because she made it out of a curtain during a time she was getting cancer treatments and spending most of her time at home.

Momma Perry knows quilts, not politics, doesn't know if son is running for president

Perry is calling top-shelf Republican leaders in the Granite State...

Psst, Rick...there are no 'top-shelf Republicans' in New Hampshire...they are ALL left-wing RINO's.

Psst, Cincinatus’ Wife has her eyes shut and her ears plugged when it comes to pretty boy Perry. Too bad since he does so many things in clear view.

The two PPs will they or will they not get into the primaries. If neither does I’d say DeMint’s get together will be lacking in ratings.

This is the only ones I would vote for, so I how one of them will shake the crazy Democrats up..

Rick Perry of Texas, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R., Minn.),are my three choices and I think anyone of the three could beat the Communist..The others will not have a chance not even the RINO Romney could not beat him..

-"...Perry is calling top-shelf Republican leaders"

Smells like 'establishment' mode. If this is true, Perry's no different than the rest of the 'political elite', because he considers himself one of them. He talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk. Another 'plastic' politician. He wont' change anything in WA anymore than that other "Governor from Texas".

Hi. Does Garadasil-Perry have more resonance with
the RomneyCARE-RINOs or the open-border RINOs?

If you had a hint that Sarah Palin was calling donors in New Hampshire and Iowa you'd be wetting your panties.

Perry calling Iowa activists as potential donors convene
