Italy Getting Uglier: Main Index Down Nearly 3%, As Short-Term Yields Explode

It took awhile -- the early trading wasn't so chaotic -- but the Italy minimeltdown people were waiting for all wekend is on.
The main index is now down about 2.8% (see chart to the right).
2-year yields are exploding higher, preparing to break through 4%.

I have seen Eye-talian women during our recent visit to Italy and they are beeyootiful!
In an ironic twist, my wife eyed the Eyetalian men and pronounced them “hot”

Obama better borrow some money from China and Bernake and send it over there on the quick.

Another failure of socialism. Italy has lots of corruption as well, but socialism helps to perpetuate that.

Sounds like its time for a one world government with a one world currency.
At least the Italians know how to do a crisis in style. Lots of wild gesticulations, great food, and freely-flowing wine.
