They’re not passing amnesty - that’s a third rail.
That’s why they are trying these back door amnesty attempts, where they can hide the de facto amnesty in the small print of a more noble sounding program that the people won’t be aware of until it’s too late. Eventually one will sneak through. That’s why they tried the NEVA bill, then the Dream Act, and now the E-verify ploy.
If you think they can’t get away with it, then check the Obamacare bill that did pass, with allkinds of hidden provisions.
And what happened to Congress in Nov. 2010? 1000 and 2000 page bills won't get through the House or Senate anytime soon.
