I especially liked “the review of 100 plus documents” “sick to my stomach” and best of all the existence of” wire tap transcripts” . Melson is acting ATF Director, which is kind of high level ( I can't remember an example in my lifetime where an actual Agency Director turned States evidence for Obstruction of Justice) , so some of the correspondence he has should have an interesting list of people on the CC lists which should make good copy for subpoenas of people or documents and ultimately for indictments
If I had been in Melson’s shoes, I would have started doing CYA record keeping from the beginning. Whether I agreed with the policy or not, (which I don’t), but just for CYA. Hopefully he has done this.
