It almost seems that Obama WANTS to run against Perry. He knew full-well that there was no way he was going to interfere and still be viable.

So what weakness does Obama see in Perry...I see many, but I’m going to sleep now.

Obama siding with the rapist of a 16 year old was not smart.

That can be turned into a nation-wide campaign ad.

Rick Perry stood up against Obama to protect the country while Obama defended a child rapist.

I think that might be true.

Obama wants to call Perry "Bush II," since Perry was Bush's Lt. Governor and his successor. That way, Obama can rerun the 2008 campaign and make it about Bush again.

Obama will call Perry "Lt. Bush" and ask Americans if they want to go back to the Bush policies that got us here.

“It almost seems that Obama WANTS to run against Perry.”

It’s pretty obvious that the MSM and DNC would love to turn 2012 into another referendum on W. IMO, that’s about the only way Obama could hope to get another term. Best way for them to do that would be to get Perry on the ticket.

Perry will try and put some distance between himself and the Bushes, but 20 years of Texas political history and donor lists will tell a different story.

Almost hate to chime in here, because Perry actually did something right for a change.
