All polls have a statistical margin of error. The results are still valid.

A sample of roughly 1,000 is the usual minimum for a serious, honest nation-wide poll, along with a +/-3.5% band of uncertainty.

I am excruciatingly aware my co-religionists lean left, but based on other larger polls and my daily interactions, the Gallup poll reads like Soetero propaganda.

Did they make the telephone calls on a non-obvious Jewish holiday, thereby insuring no orthodox Jews were polled? Etc. Etc.

7% is big. I choose to then take the position instead of a 60-32 favoring Obama, the number is 52-39, still favorable but not really close to the 78% who voted for him.
