That says "we will take the mini-deal now and try harder next time!" to me, which justifies the headline and the need to kick his sorry ass out of the Senate!

That says "we will take the mini-deal now and try harder next time!" to meThat says to me that one Republican senator, as opposed to "Republicans", muses that he might reluctantly(?) go along with a cave, presumably if everybody else does. The headline makes it sound like the Republicans are resigned to caving and even preparing to cave, but that misleading speculation is based on the musings of a single Republican senator.
