One person could have single handedly averted this, and that person is... the Governor.

Day one of the MN government shutdown has ended. It was just like yesterday. Except a little hotter out side. What happens if MN government shuts down and no one notices.

Oh, Sonya, maybe you should quit making babies a little sooner. You probably should have gone with the 0 or 1 option rather than 8.

Mother of 8? Can the father(s) comment on this?
Didn’t think so.

Did the writer of the article even think about asking how we let this happen? We have 1 women, 8 children and how many fathers?
Our problems are not fiscal, they are moral and unless the culture starts holding behavior like this accountable we are bankrupt.

Ahhh, the professionally poor. Living on food stamps and subsidies, and from entitlement to entitlement - never contributing to society; breeding large families of democratic voters from different fathers. But, one day one could make it big and move into the White House - Oh, but wait...

Dayton has never proposed a budget.
The Minnesota House and Senate passed a balanced budget bill with a 10% overall increase in spending.
Dayton will not sign because he wants to tax the top 20% of the wage earners in the state more.
He has never said how he will spend this additional money that is not needed in this budget.
The people no longer receiving aid must ask the Governor why an extra 10% was not enough.

LOL, this is the Democrats biggest fear - - the government shuts down and nobody notices except the Democrat party base of government-addicted bums, deadbeats, and parasites. And the rats want to blame the Republican party party that represents working taxpayers because they won't cave in to coughing up yet more tax dollars for Democrat politicians to use for their vote-buying scheme. Beam me up.

This single mother of 8 takes off work and forfeits her income in an effort to get back on her feet. I think the main problem is she doesn’t spend more time on her feet and less time on her back.

One wonders why.....since the "gop" knows exactly what's coming.... they don't attack first????? Get THEIR statements out first...attack THEIR targets....put THEIR enemies on the permanent defensive?????
How many times locally and nationally must the rinos be handed a victory on a silver platter only to drop it ineptly?
How many times will the "gop" adroitly and expertly snatch certain defeat from the very jaws of victory??
The gop makes me sick.
