Cummings, Schumer to hold ‘Gunwalker’ show trial against gun rights
Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 29 June, 2011 | David Codrea

In a move worthy of the benchmark set by the Soviet bloc for public manipulation, Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-Md) is going to hold Democratic hearings on “Project Gunwalker” tomorrow, Main Justice tells us.

Why? Why is this a partisan issue? And why am I convinced this will not be a sincere attempt to delve into the truth of criminal government actions? Well, the guest list, for one:

Speakers at the minority hearing will include Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), a former ATF agent and several gun control advocates.

That’s the Chuck Schumer who notoriously said:

"We`re going to hammer guns on the anvil of a relentless legislative strategy. We`re going to beat guns into submission."

The same Chuck Schumer who said:

"Like flat-earth fanatics, Second Amendment Fanatics just don`t get it. The NRA`s Second Amendment is an empty cereal box in the market place of ideas."

So much for his respect for our most cherished rights and our beliefs. So much for his understanding of the Constitution he swore an oath to uphold. And so much for any chance of this subversive career parasite ever leaving us the hell alone.

What does the government knowingly allowing uncounted guns to be walked into the hands of some of the most violent criminals on the planet have to do with gun control advocacy? Why are they invited?

Also, who is the “former ATF agent” going to be? As “No Lawyers-Only Guns and Money” blog confirms, “Rep. Cummings has not posted a release or notice about the hearings on the House Oversight Committee's website.”

Why not? And might it be Waco Jim, as the blog suspects?

And how does bait-and-switch shilling for more citizen disarmament square with another solemn pledge Cummings made

If ATF actually recieves some punishment over their misdeeds, might some truth about Waco actually come out? Could it be possible that an insider would offer up evidence in exchange for immunity?

Certainly not in this show, but maybe in the investigative hearings run by Issa?

We need more control over the government...

NOT more government control over our rights.

For example, we should have something called “Schumer Control”.

Every time a totalitarian-statist-tyrant wannabe like upChuck Schemer comes after *ANY* one of our constitutional rights, he should be arrested, tried, and, if convicted, tarred and feathered and EXILED from the U.S, with his citizenship revoked.

People like that could be sent to Cuba, or Venezuela, or Iran, or North Korea.

I’m sure those tyrannical colletivist paradises would know what to do with them.

Maybe it's you Chuck, that needs to be beat into submission.

Effing traitor.

Not at all surprised to see Cummings and Schumer trying to justify murdering a border patrollman.

That's what they are doing here ~ sounds remarkably like something Greg Craig would come up with. It's just political street theatre with the purpose of polluting the jury pool.

Unless Schumer and Cummings have some legal connection with the potential defendants they'd better keep all of this in the US Capitol building.

I think what is going on here goes beyond the gun issue...it is an effort now in their apparently waning days of control to rum through as much of their agenda via law or regulation as they can.

Hmm?? Lemme see if I have this correct:
  1. A gubmint agency, the BATF, under Eric Holder's control, decides to go rogue.
  2. They intentionally and 'with malice aforethought' order law abiding Gun Dealers to sell 'Assault Weapons' to known criminals.
  3. Over the Gun Dealers objections to these sales, the BATF demands that the sales be carried out.
  4. These 'Assault Weapons' are immediately 'walked through' the USA to Mexico, where the BATF has no authority and can't trace the weapons.
  5. The guns are used by Mexican Drug Lords to KILL people, just as the BATF expected would happen.
  6. But Ooops, an American Border Agent is murdered with one of these 'Assault Weapons' and it's left as the scene of the crime.
  7. Now, the BATF, the DoJ and Holder go into CYA mode and at first deny said operation ever existed.
  8. When that lie is blown to hell Holder says it's the fault of the BATF and some rogue agents.
  9. That lie is also exposed and now Holder AND Obama are in deep doo-doo.
  10. It now comes to the point that the RATS have to go into a full court defensive press and claim 'victim'. That it's really the Gun's Fault and our 'Lax Gun Laws'.
Sure. That makes perfect sense. After all, if those guns weren't there in the first place, as in banned. The BATF never could have come up with this stupid ass operation in the first place! So yep it's all OUR fault, and those dam guns! So we must immediately ban them all so no Rogue Agency can ever do something as dumb as this again.

And it's all for our own good you know. The RATS admit we NOW have to protect ourselves from our own government. So thanks Chuckie and Cummings, I never would have guessed that.

"Why? Why is this a partisan issue?"

Very simple:

This "under the radar gun control" op was run by Øbozo. His @$$ is hanging out a mile on this one...

Schmuckey's show is just smoke and mirrors to try to misdirect attention -- so it won't get lopped off by Issa and the American people!

“The same Chuck Schumer who said:”

The same Chuck Schumer who was the model for “Carl Schaumberg” in Unintended Consequences.

(I had to look it up; Schumer was a congressman when UC was written.)
