Yep....with so many of our troops overseas our own nations being invaded and no one attempts to identify the enemy! Rather they prepare a table for them. If they ever determine to take us over they will have infiltrated our Military here enough to do so....from within.

The president and the president alone gets to determine if, when, and how to respond to a threat. You basically admitted as much earlier when you stated that he can respond to a nuclear attack without congressional approval.

Nuclear attack? Is that what Libya did? Seriously though, exactly what threat did the President respond to when he launched the attack against Libya? And was that threat so sudden that he couldn't consult with Congress before giving his military response?

Your nuclear attack scenario does not correlate with the situation in play here. Would the President still be launching nuclear missiles at China 90 days after their attack without getting Congressional approval? Kind of silly, don't you think?

Is that why some in the past few decades have suggested that we need another Buchanan?

This is my favorite Buchanan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On5372UztI0

The constitution grants the President total power over the military.

It most certainly does not. I suggest you take a gander at Article 1, Section 8 sometime.

“...Just a life-long con man, street urchin ...”

“sock puppet” comes immediately to mind... so does “feckless douchebag”...”feckless” implies that what he does is accidental, so that adjective is probably not a good one. Nothing this pr**k does is accidental.

Presidential oath of office: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Members of Congress.
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

These people lie from the first second they take office.
