I believe Nixon did quite well with the Jewish vote in 1972 against McGovern. McGovern was perceived as a dove and many people in his campaign were pro Palestian and anti Isreal. I believe the Republican candidate in 2012 will do much better than McCain did in 2008 with the Jewish vote.
