Patrick "the behind the headlines" guy is the guest now...he is talking about the "utterly transparent" white house. When he ran he said he would be transparent as opposed to Cheney who met behind closed doors.
Obama got an award for being transparent, and then it was given in a private meeting! They knew that if they did it in an open meeting there would be laughter from reporters. Not only is he NOT transparent, Patrick gives some examples of how Obama punishes anyone who is open and honest, for example the guy who exposed the "gun walker" fast and furious affair.
