His ego has no bounds.
In a dazzling display of arrogance, disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner is trying to insert himself back into politics -- calling power brokers and would-be candidates for his old seat, hoping they'll let him play a role in choosing his own successor, The Post has learned.
Weiner, who became a national dirty joke after he was caught sexting young women, now wants to be a kingmaker.
He was a leading candidate for the 2013 race to replace Mayor Bloomberg until his political downfall earlier this month, though his fund-raising account still is bulging.

Seems there os some tongue in cheek humor in this article. nyuk, nyuk.
os = is
spellchek? waht be that?
No class chump. He’ll mold some great Kings in the new dimocrat no class, non-leadership fashion. Great.
It seems as though Weiner is thrusting himself into the opening he created.
That word was picked on purpose...
$5 mil in campaign funds and a $2 mil pension.
Not bad for a noxious twit.
I hate it when that happens.
It sounds painful.
Having trouble maintaining a reaction....
What happened to rehab?
NY Post loves to play with words, double entendre.
Does anyone know whether he has officially resigned? Last I heard he had “announced” his resignation, but had not submitted an official letter of resignation.
Good point. I never followed up on his resignation.
Not in time for the nwe season of “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew”
nwe = new
I swear I really will use spelchek some day.
It took a while, but Weiner did submit a letter of resignation.
Weiner as kingmaker?
Now there’s an anointing for which I’ll not be seeking front row seats. Even if they do come with left-over Gallagher plastic.
When we’ve come to the point where it is the kingmaker which has no clothes, the bar is set pretty low for the new king.
King maker? I fancied him more of a bishop polisher...
The shame is that you, Mr. Weiner, served dishonorably. Now, disappear into oblivion where you deserve to be.
You R@t Ba$turd, slime ball!!!
His signature looks like a sperm cell that got smacked up side the head. It figures, everything about this guy is whacked out.
“Weiner is trying to insert himself”
How `bout a poke? a-heh heh heh heh
Did he draw a picture of his weiner on that letter? Sure looks like it.
His signature looks like a spermatozoan.
Jon Stewart and Weiner are showing replacements how to use Photoshop to make thier package look bigger.
Jon Stewart lived with Weiner during the cross dressing days.
No class is not necessarily a negative if you are a Democrat. Evidence Schumer, Rangel, Frank, Dodd, Waters, Hasings etc etc.
In the whine and cheese Art World such a squiggly line would command upwards of hundreds of thousands of dollars for the 'Artiste'!!! So rich in meaning it is, so deep its social and moral grace!!! It just hits ya right here -- (tapping heart in deep awe of such great Artistry) --
Otherwise, I often doodle on Post-It Notes with a bunch of squiggly lines and such while on the phone with a client, but mostly I do a bunch of eyeball in the triangle thingies .. where is my hundreds of thousand dollars for such Artiste'istry ??? /laughs
A Fraudian slip, perhaps?
Schmuckie Schumer is lil' Anthony's mentor, the Schmuckster being his protege. Both are callous loudmouths except that lil' Anthony doesn't have 1/10th the *charm* of Schumer, who has very little charm himself so that's saying a lot ... /sarc off
Hahahaaaa .. not sure about that (GOP 'Phant), but it sure appears to be a Rat and not a Donkey. Even the NY Post headline for this article came flat out and used the moniker 'Rat' in describing Weiner's latest embarrassing folly .. I was kinda shocked by that, as it seems that Weiner and the Dems have no problem being perceived as the Rats they are .. it's a resume enhancer for them!!! /laughs
By Gum! See the big ear and the trunk flipping a weinie in the air?
This guy is a regular Picasso!
