This should only concern us if, when asked about this, Republican candidates announce support of it, or are unfamiliar with it, or when given an understanding of it, do not immediately say that they will cancel it, among a great many other federal programs, at the earliest available opportunity.
There is already quite a litany of programs that Republican candidates should be committed to abolishing. For example,
1) Ending Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security, while minimizing the impact to very poor and disabled *citizens*.
2) End all federal monetary committments other than multi-year procurement contracts, that extend beyond the current term of a given congress. This includes guarantees to non-governmental entities.
3) The North American Union. Let’s just smother that evil changeling in its crib. The same with any efforts to create an Amero currency.
4) Disassociation from any United Nations agreements outside of the UNSC. Cancellation of membership in any treaties not approved by the US Senate. Seriously considering asking the UN to relocate to say, Mogadishu.
5) Slash the size of the federal government by half. Then go through the other half and eliminate everything not directly authorized by the constitution.
