Makes me think maybe we should go back to a draft to ensure that the population has to be behind any war we execute.
that’s about the ONLY good reason for the draft i’ve heard. interesting...
of course, if we simply had stuck to the constitution, it wouldn’t have come to this... we’d never have a war, that didn’t have the consent of the people.
