JERUSALEM (AP) -- The Israeli prime minister's 19-year-old son - a military spokesman - posted derisive comments about Arabs and Muslims on his Facebook page, drawing a slap on the wrist from his superiors and focusing new attention on the controversial first family.
Earlier this year, Yair Netanyahu posted that Muslims "celebrate hate and death," the Haaretz daily newspaper reported Friday. In the same post, written after Palestinian assailants entered a West Bank settlement and stabbed five members of an Israeli family to death, he wrote that "terror has a religion and it is Islam."

Speaking the truth about islam is a big no-no, apparently.
That said, given that he is currently in the military and given who his father is, he should have had the common sense to guard his tongue.

but... the Quran itself says he is correct:
Quran (3:151) - “Soon shall We cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”.
Quran (8:12) - “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”
Bukhari (52:220) - Allah’s Apostle said... ‘I have been made victorious with terror’

Is it possible to “malign” Moslims?
In an attempt to answer the above question I tried the following:
1. Moslims are commanded by Mad Mo to convert, kill, or enslave all non-Moslims. Oops - turns out Mad Mo did command that.
2. Moslim women have half the value of Moslim males. Oppsie again, ‘cause Mad Mo did say a woman was worth half a man.
3. Moslims have sex with small livestock. Mad Mo commanded that the beast used in a beastly manner by a moslim could not be used for food, the ‘livestock husband’ had to sell the beast to another village.
After three attempts to defend Moslims, and failing each time, I am abandoning this futile task.
Nuke ‘em all.
The small livestock will thank you.

What did he say that wasn’t true? Islam is a political ideology based on hatred, violence, and death. They are dangerous savages.
I don’t disagree with anything you said, nor did my post.
A politician’s kid, however, needs to guard his or her tounge. Politics requires certain things to be subtle and unsaid.

How can one maline a muslim?
I guess I wasn't familiar with this quote. It considerably reduces Orwell to my mind. The notion that there aren't occasionally homicidal maniacs who decide to wage war is a dangerous one. I could not find (I tried!) where this quote comes from or when it was written, but it almost certainly was written by the time Hitler was a known quantity.
