Another quality line from a female victim.
Although my reigning favorite is "I shot him as much as I could"

So, how serious are the charges against Peggy Melton?

"I'm not a person who doesn't believe in owning guns because if you don't protect yourself, who will," Peggy says. "Like I said this is my house, not his, mine." Good for her! America needs millions more just like her.

I wish I had more neighbors like Peggy. Instead I have a schoolteacher that leaves a big peace sign made out of Christmas lights on the front of his house year round.

She is not a victim. They intended her to be, but it didn’t work out.

Short it out. Fry his circuit breakers.

Sounds like she got him with her deer rifle, not her concealed carry piece.

“Someone” took it out last year. It’s a two story and he put it higher up after that.

Charges for shooting a burgler in Taney County Missouri? Unless the Sheriff remits her to more range time for missing the tires of his truck, nothing.
To: Genoa
You must have another state in mind. She might get dinner and teasing for only shooting him once, from her neighbors, but no prosecutor seeking reelection would ever charge her. Sadly, if this critter recovers, the great state of Missouri will be forced to feed and care for Mr. Waggoner during his extended stay in their prison system.

Great news!
Next time remember to double-tap, though. What is worth shootng once is worth shootng twice.

Better yet. Why did you shoot him ten times? Because that is all the bullets that the gun had in it.

Well, at least that means that burglars will be more likely to presume that your neighbor poses the easiest pickings in the neighborhood, which should keep you safer. :-)

Super Soaker.

I’ve got one of those pellet guns that you cock once due to the piston and it has a scope.....from an angle it would be pretty hard to find the pellet.

Do like that E mail picture that was going around. Put a sign in your yard saying This house protected by Smith and Wesson and below that an arrow pointing to your neighbors saying He doesn’t believe in fire arms. Guess where the bad guys are going to go.

Little wonder why he is on the critical list. If he is still alive, the surgeons, EMT staff, etc., were good.
