Downtown Columbia, and especially Five Points, used to be a wonderful experience for wide-eyed small town visitors.

This is definitely not the Five Points I remember.

Me either! If I had a dime for every hour I've spent in 5 Points, I could buy a car. It is adjacent to a pretty poor area, but I went through school with a lot of folks from that part of town, and they were mostly great people. A few bad eggs, but not much like this stuff.
