The Iranian people hate Ahmadinijad and his deadly plans. If this was not an accident, one can assume that the Iraqi people were behind it.

“the plane’s lights failed in heavy fog”

I thought it was the runway’s lights that failed in the fog?

“I thought it was the runway’s lights that failed in the fog?”

Correct. What I do not understand is if the pilot had the runway lights (Actually the rabbit lights that lead to the runway) he should have executed a missed approach the moment they went out.

You, me and every other pilot in the world knows that but the media chooses not to bring the subject forth for discussion. So, please sit down.

“...and careered into a motorway ...”

More like ended their career.

I guess the UK MAIL cannot afford proofreaders.

This was a plane not a car.

Then what was it doing on the motorway?

Maybe G-d had a hand in this...

GOD: "Please quit blaming me every time someone dies. I gave you life. How it ends is a combination of natural processes and your individual choices."

Contrast this with the New York Post article re: 44 killed in plane crash in northwest Russia

The plane was carrying 52 people, including nine crew members, Semyonova said. Russian news agencies said Russian Premier League soccer referee Vladimir Pettay and a Swedish citizen were among the victims.

But, no mention of five Soviet Nuclear Scientists? Hmmmm. I find that a bit curious. Don't you?

Regards,

TS

No, being the UK they use British terminology and the verb “career” in British English means to skid out of control, pretty similar to the US English word “careen” as it happens.

Thanks. We probably made the word 'careen' up anyway. What do the Brits use for the word 'career'?

What the heck? This was a plane not a car.

Sometimes, during a fog, one can actually see better with the lights off.

“Career” but it’s used as a noun not a verb.
