A good piece on what Fukushima means for the global-warming crowd

What I like about this crowd is that they follow the data wherever it leads them.
In this forum on the aftermath of Fukushima, it leads to the conclusion by most of the experts that the abandonment of nuclear power will mean a lot more carbon dioxide pumped into the atmosphere.

These guys don't proceed to a political analysis, but I will: Expect to see a lot less agitation by mainstream politicians for carbon reductions.
As I noted in this post, the global-warming movement was always political rather than scientific. It was none other than Margaret Thatcher who kicked it off, largely in an effort to counter the coal-mining unions.
