“Israel was established by a UN resolution in 1947,” AP quoted Rajoub as saying. “I think our right is to go to the UN and ask them to implement the other birth certificate for the other state.”
Referring to the possibility of a third Arab intifada, Rajoub said violence was “not on our schedule.”
These comments are in line with ones recently made by PA President Mahmoud Abbas, who said in April that the second intifada in 2000 was ‘disastrous’ for the ‘Palestinian nation’ and said he ‘would not accept’ a third intifada even if current peace efforts fail.
One of Abbas’ advisors, however, recently made different claims and predicted a third intifada if no breakthrough occurs in peace negotiations.
Finally, in his remarks at the Presidential Conference, Rajoub also urged Israel to freeze its construction of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria and negotiate with Abbas.

i think that “right” expired about 50 years ago,
when it was rejected,
and they went to war,
to try to take away the OTHER State’s right to exist.
...not to mention the 50 years since of trying to appease their demands, and the additional wars they caused.
...not to mention, the Balfour Agreement that was broken,
and the binding international agreement in 1922 that was broken. if those had been honored, the world would be much better off today.
instead, we’re going to end up with another war there, which quite possibly will go nuclear.
I know they are blinded by ideology, hate, anti-semitism, etc., but really. How dumb do you have to be to think you can commit yourself to the destruction of a people and a country, and then want them to ‘negotiate’ with you? That right there is some aggressive stupid/low IQ, period.
If I lived next door to some people, and I spent a lot of time talking about how I was going to run them out of their house, kill them, and move my family onto their property, I would not then ask the neighbors to sit down and powwow with me. Vowing to destroy people and negotiating with them are two mutually exclusive activities.
The UN didn’t create Israel. All it did was recognize an independent nation after we had forced them to do so by chasing the British out. Then they wanted to take away another chunk of the state we made to create a Pali state, but the Arabs rejected that. Ship has sailed, bird has flown. Sorry, Charlie.
