Next thing, you will need a doctor’s prescription for 1/4 lb. of sugar. Like for cold medication here on Oregon.
They already put aspartame in it.....even in Fiber One.
Are they really trying to limit sugar but not hfcs? That can’t be right.
They just got rid of the ethanol tariff, if they get rid of the sugar tariff, we’re in good shape.
Food Freedom is not compatible with Socialized Medicine.
We have to give up one or the other.
They used to call those “Corn Flakes”, IIRC.
HFCS is pure evil. Pushed by the big conglomerates like Cargill and the others. I don’t even drink soda anymore unless I can get a “throwback” with real sugar.
As usual the powers that be have their heads up their posteriors.
This will be good for Monsanto and other makers of chemical sweeteners.
Then later, after the brain cancer or kidney failure or whatever from the chemical sweeteners, Big Pharma will get some of the benefit.
FDA is helping the usual suspects.
I'll cook my dinner the way I like even if I have to do it over a fire of desiccated fascist corpses.
***....to drastically cut sugar and other “unhealthy” additives in the name of saving the children - from obesity.***
They better not mess with my CHOCOLATE FROSTED SUGAR BOMBS!
I’m drinking a pepsi throwback right now.
I’m with you on hfcs.
Somebody was pulling your leg.
I know they screwed up the flavor of Wavy Lays potato chips. They’re now tougher and less tasty. Guess the government will be making everything less tasty so we won’t feel so bad when we’re all starving. Who will miss the food anyway, once they’re done “fundamentally transforming” it.
lThey are correct that it isnt good for you. They can stop any federal dollars from being spent on them in subsidies or food stamps or in school meals.
But when they legislate them out of existence they overstep and send us on our continued spiral into totalitarianism.
I used to live in a country where if someone from the government tried to tell you what to eat for breakfast, they would be hanging from a tree by lunch.
Me too. And if the government had hung cameras everywhere, somebody’s Dad would have shot them out. Repeatedly.
Consuming caffeine also stimulates the secretion of insulin. Do you really believe that it's the caffeine that's making us fat? Please.
Uh...being gay isn’t good for you either.....lifespan is MUCH shorter than a hetero...just sayin’
Remember back in school there was that one girl in seventh who had “big ones”. Now it seems like every girl in 6th grade has “big ones” and we have an obesity problem. For more years than I can remember I blamed obesity in general and breast growth in both female and male children(man tits wasn’t a word in my youth) on government mandated Bovine Growth Hormone..someone tell me I’m wrong...children must drink milk...
Good thing there aren't any chemicals in sucrose, huh? That would make it dangerous and unnatural.
Then later, after the brain cancer or kidney failure or whatever from the chemical sweeteners, Big Pharma will get some of the benefit.
FDA is helping the usual suspects
Yeah, the FDA does everything it can to help "Big Pharma." That's why it only takes 13 years and $800 million to bring a new drug to market. Every industry should have such friends.
I think that once a child is close enough to the age of puberty, a certain high percentage of body fat will trigger an earlier onset. I wouldn’t blame it on bovine hormones so much as feminism-Mom just doesn’t have the time or energy to cook a dinner that isn’t majorly pre-processed or plain old take-out, after a full day at work.
Exactly, she is cooking/preparing food with BGH They need more meat and cbicken and the government allowed this hormone, of course saying its safe. but LOOK at the 12 year olds today. And if you want to go in a different direction (and I dont but...)
