Fresh off her well-received performance in last week's GOP presidential debate, Rep. Michele Bachmann now tops the field of candidates in a new Zogby poll of Republican primary voters.

The poll found Mrs. Bachmann garnering 24 percent of the vote, well-ahead of businessman Herman Cain and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, who each received 15 percent support.

I answered your questions on that thread earlier. Maybe you should go back ansd see if you might have missed it. I won’t answer again, until I get some answers that I have asked for and never gotten. Like who is Palin’s campaign manager? What is her position on the DADT repeal? Has she reversed her decision on LOST and Title 9.

Does she still support McCain on immigration? You know, little things we should know when making decisions. I asked months ago and gave up.

Asking those things shouldn’t create a firestorm.

I don’t expect perfection from any of these people, after all, they are just people. In the end we have to balance them against each other. I did say earlier that I am not a Rollins fan, But ain’t no use blaming Michele for what he said. He apologized, though we are still waiting to see if Palin is serious about running.

I have stayed off Palin threads for quite a while now. I do because if she isn’t a candidate, then it is all irrelevant at the moment. Only time we bump into each other is on a Bachmann thread.

Mrs. Bachmann needs to drop Margaret Thatcher’s name here and there. It’s a good connection for people to have cemented in their heads.

She absolutely does not and has done nothing to base such name-dropping on. The Thatcher connection is Sarah Palin's. Period.

No you didn't answer my questions at all, do you really think Rollins is a good choice for her campaign manager? Guh! And you don't blame her for choosing him? Guh!

I answered your questions months ago, as did others, but you just held your hands on your ears and went "La, la, la, la, la...." No firestorm, you just didn't want to listen, or couldn't.

I'm sorry, the woman has shown herself to be not ready for prime time. If she doesn't run and Perry jumps in I'll support him, she has no executive experience and it's showing.

Only a cultist can't understand that......

This is a Zogby poll. Where people sign up with Zogby and periodically get polls to fill out. This was the same poll that had Cain so high after the first debate.

It’s not a good indication really of where all the people are, but it’s a better indication of what’s hot right now, with the people who are paying close attention.

That was a very unclear sentence. I'll try again:

I'm sorry, Bachmann has shown herself to be not ready for prime time. If Palin doesn't run and Perry jumps in I'll support him, Bachmann has not executive experience and it's showing.

Better. Sorry.

Sharky, you are losing your credibility. I don’t care about the Rollins nonsense. It is over. Belaboring something over and over is a waste of time and energy.

I care about getting a good conservative elected not arguing over a meager little person like Rollins ad nauseum.

You are starting to act desperate or something.

In the end we will have a field of candidates to choose from. From here on out it is up to them to make people want to vote for them. Not for me to try to force or insult anyone into a vote for my choice.

All the arguing and insults and hand wringing here won’t change one mind or make any difference.

I am going to bed. My mother is getting out of the hospital tomorrow.

Bonne nuit.

I know you don't care about Rollins, but you should and you know it.

Typical pap from a cultist.

You are right, in the end we will have a field of candidates to choose from, and Michel won't be chosen because she's not ready for prime time.

That's all there is to say.

Perry is unknown - unknowns never win the Republican Primary.

He is the Bilderberg pick, so the MSM will love him, so he could beat Romney and Gingrich for the establishment wing spot.

But the tea party didn’t exist 4 years ago, and we can expect the tea party to strongly back one of the tea party candidates, all of whom are better known. Tea party is 100% anti globalist, so you would expect the tea party to fight Perry as hard as Romney.

“Romney needs to be stopped ASAP. It would be McCain all over again if he were to get the nomination.”
////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Not at all, Romney is taller, better looking and has hair. These are major qualities in an American election in the year of the dingbat. Idiocracy really was a documentary, you know.

This poll is a lie from the pit of hell! I predicted that the LSM Pollsters would manufacture polls like this, was only a matter of time.

MB has endorsements from NY Times, MSNBC/Rachel Maddow, and virtually all the MSM and MSM pollsters. They are pushing hard for MB...The Rep establishment/MSM are joining up for the same shared goal, to push MB for one reason only...to help Romney and they hope to keep Gov Palin out of the race...

It`s not real folks...just hope that Rep primary voters do not buy into the lies

Nothing wrong with crticism, but why doesn’t the repeated outright libel of a conservative get the zot? Back up your claims or shut up.

You think any poll that doesn’t have Palin in the lead is from the pit of hell. Our savior is Jesus Christ, not Sarah Palin.

You got it half/most right, I will give you that. Phony poll is right, all the polls are phony for that matter.

With the exception of a few misguided Conservatives, most of MB support is from left wing MSM and MSM pollsters. The MSM is trying to pick our candidate, they want Bachmann/Romney..It`s Gov Palin they fear

I think it`s the MB supporters that have cement in their heads. They can not see that she is being pushed by MSM.

That is the sole reason for this poll and the other phony polls to follow, they actually think they can fake out Gov Palin.

If you people really believe MB has soared with the GOP primary voters???

Get real...I personally find the idea of Palin on the bottom of any Rep ticket offensive! Particularly on the bottom of a Bachmann ticket.

I personally know that Sarah Palin would also find that insulting.

Bachmann herself blew any chance of ever being on the bottom of a Palin ticket with her behavior the last couple months.

VP is beneath Gov Palin at this point.

My apologies... I thought it read Bachmann/Palin... Sorry, but I think MB has hurt herself too much to be considered as Palin VP.

My apologies on reading your post wrong, sorry

Just so happens that I properly predicted that MSM pollsters would push MB with all they had, we are witnessing it now as we speak, all lies.

NY Times, Rachel Maddow etc etc etc have all endorsed MB and now the flood of MSM polls to show her in first/second place.

If anybody was to look in my posting history, they would find that I have held this opinion of pollsters manufacturing opinion, long before I ever heard of Sarah Palin.

Chris Matthews/ and the MSM pollsters Pushing hard for MB...wake up man
