Jon Stewart has reacted to his interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News to claim that he was unfairly edited to appear like 'a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown'.

The Daily Show Host appeared on Fox News Sunday with Wallace for a heated debate on political bias in the media.

The two men were caught in passionate clashes of opinion as Stewart claimed that Fox pushed a right-wing agenda.

But speaking on his own Comedy Central show on Monday evening, Stewart said that the show's producers had tampered with the interview. He said that he came across as 'emotional and erratic'.

'I suggest you look at the unedited version online where my emotional states don't seem to change so arbitrarily,' he said.

'The arguments are a little clearer and a little less like a scene from woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

No they didn’t Jon, that was the real you. Comedians should be able to laugh at themselves. That is what makes them able to laugh at others and still be liked.

You fail, Jon.

What I saw of the interview was clearly edited. Whether it was done “fairly” or not, I have no way of knowing.

Stewart is a sexist. I expect NOW to issue a demand for an apology because of his implied denigration of women as especially hysterical.

Translation: “I did a lousy job during my appearance on Fox.”

John, most people watch what they like, and that’s why the Fox audience is a LOT BIGGER than yours.

I hope I am not being too PC, but isn't that a bit sexist?

Dang those Fox editors are good with their humiliating editing tricks.

If they did indeed “edit” Jon Steward to appear to be a hysterical woman( isn't he always like a hysterical woman anyways?), they still wouldn't even come closerto the editors at the cBS and the “job” they did on the Sarah Palin/Katie Couric interview.
Funny how the vermin of the lame stream media are quick to claim victimhod at the slightest attempt to give them a taste of the bitter medicine they have been dishing out to conservative GOP politicians fopr DECADES.
Shut and stop crying already Jon. What a wuss!

Most political/topical/racial comedy is born out of anger, not all of course, but most. Take the comic off the stage, scratch the surface just a bit and the anger and feelings of impotence are right there. It's the Lenny Bruce school, and look how he disintegrated.

A few of them manage to hide the anger during their careers for common sense financial reasons but after a while it shows. Think Cosby - a very angry man in spite of his great success and wealth. Or thinl of virtually any reasonably successful comedienne - Cho, Bernhardt, Poundstone - they are all angry queers.

He could possibly have a point, though I doubt it’s anywhere near as bad has he says .... or as extreme as the routine editing by The Daily Show editors of clips of President Bush, Sarah Palin and its other GOP and conservative targets.

Tell us again, John. How does it feel?
