Welcome to the new civility. At a Thursday rally in New Jersey protesting Republican Gov. Chris Christie’s pension deal that would cut pensions and benefits to public workers, a union leader charged Christie with acting like a Nazi. And not any ordinary Nazi, but Adolf Hitler himself. “Good afternoon brothers and sisters. Welcome to Nazi Germany,” Communications Workers of America District 1 Vice President Christopher Shelton is seen raving in a video posted on YouTube. “We have Adolf Christie and his two generals trying to make New Jersey Nazi Germany.”

This is so sad. Referencing patriotic themes as a way to try to redistribute income. How far we have fallen.

Referencing patriotic themes as a way to try to redistribute income

That's been the basic theme of union newsletters and propaganda since the 1940's at least.

I saw an NJN news report last night that showed the NJEA (New Jersey Education Association) head scathingly going after....................................
.........................................
the DEMOCRAT leader of the New Jersey State Senate, AND a long-time NJEA backer - from an insurance outfit.

She was claiming this long time friend of theirs and the Democrat party head of the Senate were “selling out”.

I think the Unions in New Jersey are starting to loose some of their traditional support in the state. That’s a good thing.

Maybe that’s why they have to use the “Adolf” epithets, to compensate for their weaknesses in their traditional base of support.

They’re a mob; so when logic and facts cannot make an argument, then they go and demonize someone and hope enough of the sheeple will be fooled.

Christie’s not a Nazi but Communists don’t like Nazis anyhow.

Gov. Christie says, “we don’t have the money and the need for serious negotiation is necessary.” In the spirit of true negotiation, the union replies that Gov. Christie is Adolph Hitler and has Nazis working with him. If this is representative of a union official, everyone in New Jersey would be much better off without these sort of “leaders.”

Interesting, given that Hitler created the most powerful unions ever:

In 1933, the Nazis formed German Labor Front (Deutsche Arbeitsfront, DAF), which was comprised of 2 primary entities, the National Socialist Factory Organization and the National Socialist Trade and Industry Organization. The labor contracts that were Weimar contracts were now DAF-honored contracts. The Nazi’s funded the DAF’s coffers with the Weimar unions’ stockpile of wealth (the existing unions were part of that inflation problem). One of the new unions’ most popular programs was the Strength through Joy (Kraft durch Freude, KdF)) program, which developed the KdF-wagen, that later became the Volkswagen, or People’s Car.

The primary goal of Germany’s national socialists was to “create a classless” society. Hitler’s unions were front and center in this cause. In fact, Hitler gave the unions their long-awaited demand, one that the Weimar unions were never able to pull off, a National Labor Day, May 1, 1933.

Hitler said that unions (direct quote):

“In the present state of affairs I am convinced that we cannot possibly dispense with the trades unions. On the contrary, they are among the most important institutions in the economic life of the nation. Not only are they important in the sphere of social policy but also, and even more so, in the national political sphere. For when the great masses of a nation see their vital needs satisfied through a just trade unionist movement the stamina of the whole nation in its struggle for existence will be enormously reinforced thereby.

Before everything else, the trades unions are necessary as building stones for the future economic parliament, which will be made up of chambers representing the various professions and occupations.”

The NJEA went against the most powerful man in New Jersey; Democrat Boss George Norcross. They are doomed.

Almost all of the Newspaper Guilds which the reporters and editors belong to country wide are part of the Newspaper Guild of America which is part of the Communication Workers of America. The reporters are reporting on the actions of their own union. Most of the on-line people not affiliated with a newspaper probably aren’t unless the corporation they work for is and they are covered by that agreement.
