Obama said, “If it was me...” but the headline corrects his grammar and says “If it were me...”
These journalists are now correcting his grammar for him?
The correct form would be “If it were I” not “If it were me”.
Can you believe it? This is stunning! Especially in light of the extended coverage of the supposed 8th grade level at which the "Alaskan village idiot" communicates.
It's actually funnier than heck because, as Perdogg pointed out, even the correction is ungramatical!
