Environmental groups Thursday sued the Obama administration over its approval of a Shell plan to drill for oil deep under the Gulf of Mexico. The suit was the opening salvo in what could be a lengthy legal fight over U.S. drilling policy following the resumption of oil and gas exploration after the Deepwater Horizon disaster. It came a day after ExxonMobil announced one of the largest oil discoveries ever in the Gulf

A spokeswoman for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation, and Enforcement, which approved Shell's plan, musing @ staff, " listen fellas, these wild cat oil guys are getting kind'a close on Eric, hows about we submit a really crappy viro plan for the Greenies, then just lettem push back to the fed courts. I’m getting to see the results of “environMENTALISTS” lawsuits up close over here in northeastern Arizona. We’ve got the Sierra Club-9th Circus Court fire burning down the damn state.

Can someone point out to me just how these nebulous ‘environmental groups’ have ANY standing at all to bring suit when American citizens don’t have standing to bring a lawsuit for Obama to prove he’s Constitutionally qualified for the office he’s usurping?
Just my thought...

No one who uses petroleum products should be allowed to continue that use if they are an environmental activist who refuses us exploration and removal of oil or coal.
Almost all of the products that we use are made from a petroleum base and even the electricity that we use to charge the batteries of non gas fueled cars is produced by natural gas or coal. They couldn't even use their computers or cell phones as they are made from plastic.

I am wondering the same thing. These are tax free organizations that get grants from the government in some cases.
