Schu feels heat to get his pal out
New York Post ^ | June 12, 2011 | OTIS and MILLER

In an e-mail yesterday, Schumer said the scandal left him "heartbroken" -- but he stopped short of calling for Weiner to resign.

"For those of us who are longtime friends of Anthony Weiner his wrongful behavior is distressing and saddening," Schumer said.

"It's clear he needs professional help and I am glad he is seeking it."

Weiner was a SUNY senior when he went to work as Schumer's intern; the then-congressman later gave Weiner his first political job, as an aide.

Schumer sloppers over weiner.
I would like to see 24,000 of Weiner’s emails...

I wish I knew which Weiner event that occurred today is the truth. Did he turn himself in to “rehab” or have a ticker tape parade through his district for his adoring and cheering unwashed masses? I’ve seen both in the “news”.

Can individuals file Freedom of Information requests?
I wonder how they would handle 100,000 of them?
And these requests would be exclusively for non-work-related emails from all his staff members as well as the man himself.

He's been in the Fed government how long?

Way more than 24,000, I suspect.

It's clear he needs professional help

Maybe he would have been better off using professionals. There is an implied covenant of non disclosure in pro ho contracts. Only a total idiot could get caught.

"Hey guess who is the new New York's most famous schmeckel."

I think this means that Weiner has serious dirt on Chuckie.

Typical mushy-headed leftist pseudo-psychology -

Weiner is now the victim. That didn't take long, did it?

He is suffering from some unspecified malady so his sexual perversion isn't his fault. He has become infected somehow, but professional help will make him well.

Isn't he a brave man for facing his sickness and seeking help?

We shouldn't be criticizing him, we should be supporting him and congratulating him for his determination to rid himself of this curse.

All hail The Weiner!

The most infuriating thing about the sordid affair is the "defense" by the POSs : the "talking point" is universal : Pelosi, Reid, Bill Clinton, other "progressives," every talking head on TV, the DNC, the 300+ Soros-funded "News" outlets, the SEIU, the Teacher Unions, the Public Employee unions and welfare "disbursing agencies" all agree...

This matter is solely the business between Senator Weiner and the prople who elected him.

Say what? It matters to every citizen of the United States.

ONE vote has been the difference between the Health Care Law from Hell or a rational solution with little or no government interference.
It matters.

As one affected by the criminal element in the bicameral Congress, I want this pervert out. Permanently.

I don't care what he does, so long as he is gone from any role in governing whatsoever on a national level or affecting national laws.

Let me think.
How can I make it any clearer?

Yep, this is the oldest one in the book. Now he’s got some unspecified medical or mental condition, so that he is not responsible for what he has done.

And now the MSM and liberals will praise him for seeking treatment and shining the light on whatever impluse control problem he finally admits to suffering from.

And the MSM will lap it up. Since Weiner is a good Democrat, there will be no more negative stories in the MSM. It’s all positive from here on out, because he’s going to rehab. Rehab fixes everything, at least for good Democrats.

The therapy is of course bull. It has to do something with pension or health care issues if you resign. Any body got info on how the outrageous pension would be affected by a resignation?

Schumer is sad because Weiner is taking up all the media’s oxygen and none is left for Chuckle’s self-aggrandization.

The best way Weinergate could play out would be for Schmuckie to pressure Weiner just enough to anger him into spilling Schmuckies secrets. That would be so sweet!
