On another thread, Mathews is saying that Christians are “culturally backward” for being offended by Weiner’s behavior.
Flipping that over, it means that this is acceptable behavior, and that this is where the country would be if they had their way.

Weiner is the perfect "face" of the Democrat party, and we need him to stick around for as long as possible.
Anyway, the scum in that district who elected and re-elected Weiner say they want him to stay. If he left they would only replace him with another p.o.s. who would vote the same way he does.
He needs to go. Now.

Allowing him to remain in office sends a terrible message to our kids and grandkids.

This battle will have to be won on the economy, not morals. There aren't enough indignant Dems and Indys on this one to build a winning majority.
He should stay. Just as BJ Clinton became an outcast, a pariah, a leper and was totally shunned Weiner will experience the same fate. He will live out his days in lonely disgrace just as Clinton. Just as BJ sparked a move toward sexual purity among young people will finish the job.
If morality was ignored, Clinton would never have been impeached.
