You probably are not aware that CNN is more expensive per minute of advertising than Fox. Besides, you obviously did not get his point which is valid...media is pressured and oftentimes does lose advertising accounts because of political content. Look at who does not advertise on Becks show for example...
This “guy” could teach you volumes about the newspaper business...so don’t be so cocky in something you obviously have little experience or knowledge in.
The other item you missed in this wonderful article is that the Publisher, Tom Kocal even stands up for the democrat party when an unethical action is taken up by the local government. Tom is a conservative Tea Party activist who among other protests went to the Chicago Tea Party on April 15th, 2008. This man is all about ethics and courage. Read and learn marktwain...but to do that you have to be able to discern what you read...
I did not see any unethical action. A Democrat resigned. Democrats wanted another Democrat appointed. The (presumably Republican) appointed a Republican. Where is the ethical problem?
If a Republican were president, and a Supreme Court justice (a Democrat) resigned, would you say that the Republican president should appoint a Democrat to the seat?
